组织学与胚胎学是一门形态学课程，实验课程的比例好大，其与理论课程的比例接近1:1.本书是安徽医科大学基础医学院专门为外国留学生而编写的医学基础实验教材，全英文出版。全书分3个部分：1.基本组织，6个实验项目，分别是：上皮组织，结缔组织、血软骨组织和骨组织、肌组织、神经组织；2.器官与系统，11个实验，分别是：眼和耳、循环系统、皮肤、淋巴、内分泌、消化、呼吸、秘尿及生殖等系统；3.胚胎学，4个实验，分别为：人胚胎的发生、颜面的发生、泌尿系和生殖器的发生、血管的形成等。
吕正梅，安徽医科大学基础医学院教授，组织胚胎学教研室主任，长期从事组织学与胚胎学教学与研究，是安徽省组织胚胎学学术带头人。
