本书从社会文化活动理论视角,运用定量定性相结合的方法,对中部某省属本科院校四百余名大学生的英语学习负动机进行实证研究,发现负动机是省属高校大学生英语学习中的普遍现象。他们的英语学习负动机受到主体矛盾、规则矛盾、学习共同体矛盾、中介工具矛盾和劳动分工矛盾等介入因素的影响。本研究表明英语学习负动机是一个社会中介现象,为英语负动机研究提供了视角参考,为克服英语课堂负动机的消极影响提供了实践依据。
李池利,利物浦大学应用语言学哲学博士,副教授,华中师范大学访问学者。主要研究兴趣与专长包括但不限于应用语言学、二语习得、第二语言教学理论与实践等。近年来先后在《SYSTEM》和《中国应用语言学》等SSCI、ESCI、中文核心以及外语类专业期刊上发表论文30余篇。主持完成中国外语教育基金、全国高校外语教学科研项目、湖北省教育厅人文社科项目等省部级课题10余项,参与教育部教育规划项目等省部级课题多项。
